Ian joined the Trusted Finance Solutions team in Jan 2020.
He has had an interesting upbringing being born in Australia but having lived in Iraq, Egypt and England as a teenager. He has been to over 40 countries at time of writing.
Ian worked as a real estate agent in the late 1990’s for around 5 years and then got into mortgage broking in 1994 with his first role in the industry with Wizard Home loans.
From there he has worked for a number of finance/mortgage broking businesses such as Moneywise, Your Money Mortgages, The Practice, Collins Home loans, Open Finance. These roles ranged from senior mortgage broker, finance specialise to finance manager.
So overall, Ian has a wealth of knowledge in the property and finance space and has completed his Diploma of Financial Services in Mortgage Broking and also has a Diploma of Financial Services in Financial Planning. He is an MFAA member.
In his spare time you can find him walking his kelpie blue heeler dog Zuda, hiking, or following the Hawks in the football or Melbourne Victory in the soccer.
